Therefore, the particle size of the primer is larger, and its viscosity is larger, and its specific gravity is larger. It is emphasized that the amount of paint should be large, so the spray gun used for spraying the primer should have a large-caliber nozzle, and the lower paint tank should also be large. In terms of the spray gun for spraying finishing paint, the degree of atomization should be high, so an Auto spray gun with a smaller caliber and good atomization effect is often selected.

The nozzles of commonly used Auto spray guns have different calibers, including 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.3mm, 1.5mm, 1.6mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm, 2.2mm, 2.5mm and others. You can make choice according to the sprayed paint and the size of the sprayed objects. For example, the models with the diameter of 2.0 to 2.5mm are usually used to spray primers with thicker particle size and larger viscosity or used for large area spraying; Models with the diameter of 1.0 to 1.8mm are mainly used for spraying finishing paint; Models with the diameter of 0.6 to 1.3 are mainly used for spraying small objects or handicrafts.

2. The main points about the maintenance of the Auto spray gun

1). Frequently check whether there are leaks in the needle valve, gasket, and air valve sealing gasket, and replace them in time if there are; Oil should be applied to the sealing gaskets frequently to make them soft and facilitate sliding.

2). The thread of the air cap of the gun, the adjustment knob for the amount of sprayed paint and the air adjustment knob, etc., should be oiled frequently to ensure flexible movement; The springs in the thimble and air valve of Auto spray gun should also be coated with lubricating oil to prevent rust and facilitate sliding.

3). Do not disassemble the Auto spray gun at will. When disassembling, it should be noted that there should be no rubbish and paint on the rectangular parts. The air cap and nozzle should never be damaged. After assembly, adjust to the original form, and pull the trigger to test the spraying effect of air and paint.

4). The Auto spray gun should be thoroughly inspected before use to ensure that the Auto spray gun is in good condition before it can be used.

5). When using the Auto spray gun, avoid hitting the painted object or falling on the ground, otherwise, it will suffer permanent damage and become unusable.

6). When the work is suspended, the gun head of the Auto spray gun should be immersed in the solvent to prevent the paint from drying out and blocking the nozzle; But the entire Auto spray gun should not be completely immersed in the solvent, which will damage the sealing gaskets of various parts and cause air leakage, giving a rise to the phenomenon of air and paint leakage.

7). The Auto spray gun should be cleaned in time after use, otherwise, the paint passage will be blocked (especially 2K paint), and it will be difficult to clean in the future. Or even the machine can not be used anymore. After cleaning the spray gun, connect the paint tube and compressed air tube to test spraying, and adjust the fan surface of the spray gun. The fan angle of the manual air hopper spray gun is 70 to 80 degrees. If there is any problem, request for repair in time.
