The Difference Usage between Primer and Top Cpat Spray Gun

Primer spraying:

The spray width of the primer spraying must be that the wet layer is wider than the atomized layer. It is only necessary to spray the primer by a best primer spray gun evenly on the surface of the workpiece to be sprayed. The atomized layer should be much narrower than the wet layer, especially after the atomization. The spraying of the primer paint requires a good filling ability, and this ability is mainly completed by the wetting layer. Otherwise it will bring a poor effect to the spraying of the primer paint. Even worse, it will waste more labor, time and materials to the grinding process of the primer coating.

Topcoat spraying:

The top coat mainly plays the role of coloring and decoration. Coloring is very important. The color of the top coat must be sprayed evenly and the leveling property is required. Therefore, the top coat spray gun emphasizes the atomization effect. The adjustment range of the topcoat spray gun must be that the atomized layer is wider than the wet layer.

Primer paint spray: Adjust the fan-shaped control knob to the middle, the paint control knob to the middle, and turn down the air pressure adjustment knob. (Medium air pressure, small flow, small amplitude.)

Spray top coat paint: Adjust the fan-shaped control knob to large, the paint control knob to middle, and turn up the air pressure adjusting knob to. (High pressure, small flow, large range.)

At the same time, the spraying requirements of primer and topcoat are also different.

Primer paint: It is required to fill quickly, be easy to polish, and reduce flying paint.

Top coat paint: uniform color, good leveling and full gloss are required. Achieving the above requirements is the key to get perfect spraying effect.
