Usage of Auto Spray Gun

1. Sufficient air

The auto spray gun needs compressors with sufficient gas production and suitable gas storage tanks. The diameter of the compressed air pipeline auto spray gun is the key to obtain sufficient compressed air. In particular, the inner diameter of the compressed air hose should be at least 8 mm, so as to avoid too much pressure drop. Special hoses for spray paint that are antistatic, thinner resistant, high temperature resistant, wear resistant and pressure resistant should be used.

2. Clean compressed air

Auto spray gun can use air purification system to achieve clean air. As the pressure in the spray gun air hose and regulator has been reduced, the air inlet pressure of the auto spray gun must be detected and adjusted.

3. Paint flow control

According to the paint viscosity and the required adjustment flow, usually the paint flow control button is fully opened.

4. Spraying speed

Due to different spray gun models, paint viscosity, air pressure, spray width, spraying distance requirements are different, and spraying speed is also different.

5. Overlapping spray patterns

When spraying, the spray pattern overlap is: 2/1 overlap for flat spray. Wet spray is 3/2 overlap.

6. Nozzle set

When replacing the nozzle set, choose a set of the same model as the auto spray gun. The nozzle set includes the inspected needle assembly, nozzle and air cap. The air cap of the auto spray gun should be placed where the mark is on it. Only original parts can ensure the highest quality and service life.

8. Spraying distance

In order to avoid over-range spraying and poor spraying effects, the distance between the air cap and the workpiece must be determined by the spray gun type and paint.

9. Spray angle

When spraying, the spray gun and the workpiece should be kept at 90°. That is, the workpiece and the spray gun needle should be kept perpendicular to 90°.

10. Spray width control button

The spray width control button is used for stepless adjustment of spray width: left rotation: to increase spray width. Rotate right: Adjust the spray width.

11. Clean after use

The spray gun must be cleaned in time after each use. Do not soak the spray gun in thinner for a long time. This will cause the spray gun sealing ring to age and cause damage to the spray gun. At the same time, pay attention to the nozzle disassembly sequence, first disassemble the thimble, then the air cap, and finally the nozzle. Install in reverse order. After cleaning, add proper amount of special lubricant for the auto spray gun to the movable part of the auto spray gun.
