How to Adjust an Auto Spray Gun?

Auto spray gun seems very complicated to outsiders, but those who have a deep understanding of it know that operating an auto spray gun is actually not difficult at all, especially a manual liquid auto spray gun, which is easy to operate and convenient to use.

Supply of paint to the auto spray gun

To feed the paint supply device into the paint, the standard viscosity of the paint is generally 9-30 seconds, but there is no certain restriction. Then start the paint supply device and send the paint to the spray gun.

Adjust the air regulator to low pressure (1-3 kgf), the pump rotates, and the paint is sucked in. Use the paint pressure regulator installed at the paint inlet and outlet of the pump to adjust the pump pressure to about 0.5-2kgf/cm³.

Atomization of paint by auto spray gun

Adjust the atomized air pressure to 0 kgf/cm³ without spraying out air, pull the trigger, and the paint is sprayed out by the spray gun. If there is residual air in the paint hose, the paint will be intermittently sprayed out when spraying, so spray continuously until there is no air left. Adjust the amount of paint sprayed out by rotating the paint adjuster behind the spray gun to the left to increase the amount of paint sprayed out and to the right to stop spraying.

When resting, tighten the paint adjuster to the left so that it cannot be sprayed out or reduce the paint delivery pressure. Adjust the atomized air pressure to 2-4kgf/cm³ and pull the trigger to atomize the paint. Use a suitable nozzle and adjust the atomized air pressure.

If using a flat nozzle, the atomized air adjustment valve on the upper part of the nozzle body is usually used when the switch is turned on and the left is rotated to adjust the shape or particle state of the spray width. The adjustment of the spray width of the auto spray gun is done with the spray width adjustment valve on the left side of the spray gun. Rotate it to the left to increase the width and to the right to decrease it.

If using a round nozzle, there is no need to use the atomized air adjustment valve on the spray gun, only use the spray width adjustment valve on the left side of the spray gun. Usually, it is rotated to the full open state when using, and the shape or particle state of the spray width is adjusted according to the situation.
